Join on on the 2nd Thursday of each month for Open Arts Night, a collaboration between Acorn Collective and Side Rail Collective. Hosted in Georgetown at the Side Rail gallery & studio space, this event is a combined guided visual arts activity, performance and open mic.

All ages and genders are invited and welcomed to our Open Arts events!

Each month features a different art medium, introduced by a teaching artist. All supplies are included for you to explore visual expression during the open studio time, while at the same time enjoying live performances.

A featured performing artist will start off the night, after which the mic will be open to any and all attendees who would like to share music, spoken word, or other mediums of expression.

Please arrive by 7:30pm to sign up for the open mic and to be present for the teaching demonstration. Late arrivals are welcome, just ask for assistance with the project.

We ask attendees for a $10 donation to attend Open Arts Night, if possible. Thank you for your contribution which helps us supply materials and the space to put on these events!
